·Hi all,
I'm listing for sale my Rolex ref 1675 'Long E dial' GMT in excellent condition for its age.
The 1.25m serial number indicates 1966 manufacture.
This watch is a very nice example of these iconic and collectable watches, difficult to find in this unmolested condition.
The dial and hands (second hand shows a tiny bit of tarnish) are in great condition with an even matching patina and unmarked plots.
All dial script is in top condition.
The case is in good condition for its age with strong lugs - a few 'dinks' here and there as to be expected from a non safe-queen watch, but nothing significant.
Comes mounted on a 78360 folded link bracelet (good for my 7.5” wrist).
It comes without box and papers.
This is an excellent choice as a daily wearer, with substantial investment potential.
No 'formal' service history, however the watch was checked over in rotation with other watches in my collection some 2 years ago.
All functions operate correctly, winds, sets and runs very well - good timekeeping and power reserve.
As far as pricing is concerned, I’ve checked prices on various platforms but there are very few being offered in this condition and originality (many with service replacement dials, hands, bezels etc) with the best original ones attracting substantial premiums.
I would like to see UK£15k NOW REDUCED TO UK £13500, to include insured delivery world wide.
Please check out the photos as they are a major part of the description.
Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or for additional pics.
Thanks for looking.
