Up for sale is a very nice 1964 Tropic Rolex Glossy Gilt GMT Reference 1675.
CASE: Excellent case that has thick lugs with original champhers still present and minimal polishing. Serial and reference numbers are crisp and well defined between the lugs:
Serial number: 12****circa 1964.
Case Back is stamped 1675- IV.64
DIAL/HANDS: Excellent super glossy gilt dial has an even tropic Reddish brown patina throughout. No chips, nicks or tool marks on dial. Full gloss still present. Minimal tritium loss at 6 hr market. All markers have an even deep mustard patina and glow properly under UV. Matching yellow tritium hands. Dial is super clean and crisp.
Period correct gilt faded fat font red back insert has a nice sky blue and salmon color.
MOVEMENT: Running COSC, Rolex 1560 cal. Is keeping perfect time.
Comes mounted on a stretch rivet bracelet with 58 endlinks. Clasp is stamped 1.64 and has 11 links total with no stretch.
