·Looks like one of the bidders retracted and it sold for $7500. I thought about posting it here while it was still active, but decided against it. The case and the double bevel case back are both in really nice shape from what I could see, and the movement at least looks decent and not rattty. The dial, well definitely needs a relume, and the bezel is pretty much the worst/most ghosted I've seen. But is $7500 really that out of line even for one that needs some work? I can't remember seeing one of these on ebay sell for this little any time recently.

·i wouldn't have thrown it out of bed for eating crackers.
1963 could've been my dad's HS graduation... think of the adventures that baby has seen. swapping out the replacement hands for a correct set would make that ok in my book. the ghost bezel is really cool, different, but cool. a vintage 1963 senior is a lot more grey today as well.
