1963 Bulova stainless 23j $40

One of my late night “under the influence” purchases- 1963 23j Bulova Self Winding in stainless case with sharks tooth indices, linen dial and outer minute track. This was was a stunner- once.

Case measures 33.5x39.5x10.5, lugs are 18mm- this is a larger sized watch for 1963. The dial has obviously seen some moisture, some call it “patina”, I call it damage, whatever your taste- it’s there.
Back is nicely engraved with a loving sentiment- somebody loved this watch


The seller showed a picture of it dismantled during service and it does wind, set and run beautifully- but I can’t show proof of a service as none was provided other than the sellers word and single pic.

It’s a nice looking watch at viewing distance, but is being sold for the value of the movement due to the dial condition.
