1960 Omega Geneve (small seconds) - winding feel?

Hi All, I recently purchased a vintage Omega Geneve (9 carat solid gold) and the watch winds well and seems to be functioning correctly, but the crown feels slightly loose while winding and moves forwards and backwards quite easily. Is this normal? It's hard to describe the feel. There's no wobble, but the winding seems to be very easy and the crown can be moved in an anti-clockwise direction quite easily.

Hope that makes sense. 馃榾

Has it been serviced recently?

Some vintage watch crowns do feel like that, but whether they should or not I don鈥檛 know. I can鈥檛 recall ever having a freshly serviced watch feel like that

No, not normal. Have a watchmaker assess it. Nice watch!

Thanks Guys. No, I don't think it's been serviced in many years. I'll get this done soon. 馃榾
