·Up for sale from my private collection is this nice Longines Conquest with date at 12 and scalloped crown.
Conquest Ref. 9024 "Date at 12"
- Serial no. 114456xxx dates back to 1960
- Cal. 291, very clean
- Original dial, with yellow gold hour markers and hands
- Solid steel case (35 mm without crown)
- Signed original Longines crown (rare "scalloped" crown original for this reference)
- Gold medallion on caseback "Fish in Kelp" Longines Seal of Quality
The linen dial of this conquest is near mint and only slightly aged. There are no blemishes or other distracting issues. All the original printing is crisp and complete.
The case is in very good condition as well, all edges and facets are sharp and there are no deep scratches or dings. The solid gold medallion on caseback still has all of it's enamel. One of the greenest fishes you can find out there 😉 Numbering of case and caseback are matching (107). I have to mention that one lug at 11 o'clock seems to be a little bent - something that can be fixed easily by any skilled watchmaker.
The movement is clean and the watch is running strong. It winds and sets well and the date is switching correctly. I have no information on the service history, if you want to wear it regularly I would recommend a service
The Longines comes on a new genuine lizard strap and generic buckle.
This is a highly colleactable and very well preserved Longines and I am asking for 950 Euro net to me. Bankwire is preferred, paypal please add 4% (payment must be done in Euro). The watch and I are located in Germany. I will be happy to work out the best shipping option with you.
I have references here on OF, on German watch forums and a lot of positive feedback on ebay.
Please have a look on the pictures and feel free to answer to this thread or PM me directly if you have any questions. No returns unless condition of the watch is grossly misrepresented.
Thanks for looking!😀
