Hi all, I’m putting my Longines Conquest 9024-2 Cal 291 up for sale. Selling because I have a growing interest in photography and I’m looking to raise funds for a new mirrorless camera. I’ve owned this watch for around 2.5 years now, previously purchased from @Pjotr1 on OF. The watch is entirely original. Excellent example in my opinion. Serial – 11.205.xxx dates it to 1959. Dial – Brushed dial, good condition. Small mark around 11 o’clock as pictured. Not very noticeable on the wrist. Original 3,6,9 o’clock lume intact. Date window at 12 o’clock with the original crystal and magnifier at 12. Case – 35 mm in diameter, without crown. Good condition overall, lugs are sharp, not polished in my possession. Case shows expected wear for a watch from 1950s visible on these macro shots but not really noticeable when wearing. Crown – Original scalloped crown. The reason I had originally bought the watch. People will know these crowns are as rare as hens teeth. Hands – Original syringe hands. Some age-related corrosion, nothing more than expected for a watch of this age. Lume on hands intact. Bright orange colour contrasts beautifully with the cream dial. Caseback – Original enamel, in great condition. There is some brownish discoloration around the gold medallion, which might be the original protective lacquer. Beautiful clean and honest watch. Keeping vintage time. It was not serviced in my possession, therefore recommend it be serviced if you intend to wear it regularly. Strap not included, sale is for watch body only. Looking for 1100 USD.
