·Dear OF,
Up for sale is my stainless steel Universal Geneve Polerouter from 1955.
This was acquired from @sjg22 last year and remains in honest, unpolished condition. It has not been serviced in my possession, however it keeps good time when worn. I have fitted an ostrich pattern 19mm strap on it and hope to see it go to a good home. My asking price is ($800USD) now $725USD via PayPal. This includes PP's 2% business account fee, as well as tracked and insured shipping worldwide from Australia.
Size: 35mm w/o crown and 38mm with crown. 46mm lug-to-lug, 19mm lug width. Wears very well on my 6.5" (16.5cm) wrist.
3
Case condition: The stainless steel case and caseback has light marks and swirls from use, and the crystal has some light marks. The crown remains original.
Dial: The original dial has patinaed in a lovely way, with a slightly smoky colour complimenting the darkened lume on hands and hour markers. While some of the dial text has faded, no significant dial print loss since acquisition has been noted.
Movement: The 138SS bumper movement is clean and is running, though a service is recommended before daily wear.
Please see photos for further condition, and don't hesitate to ask me any questions via PM. No returns are available unless the watch is grossly misrepresented.
Regards,
E
