Here is the rare chance to grab a collectors grade Longines Conquest with heavy 18K Longines gold bracelet, original boxes and Longines Extract from the Archives.

Longines Conquest ref. 9001

at a glance

- serial no. 9604xxx dates back to 1955
- cal. 19AS
- original dial with gold markers and hands
- heavy 18K solid gold case (35 mm without crown)
- signed original Longines crown
- gold medallion on caseback "Stars and Sea" Longines Seal of Quality
- original and heavy 18k Longines signed gold bracelet

the dial

The original dial of this Conquest is in very good condition and has turned to an even creamy patina. Very crisp fonts. Applied solid gold arrow shaped indices. Dial and hands still hold the original lume. There is a faint stain near the centre of the dial.

the case

The 18K gold case is in fantastic ondition with fat lugs, all facets well defined. There are only superficial scratches. I think it is still unpolished which is absolutely rare among 18K Conquests.

the movement

Longines in-house caliber ref. 19AS looks almost untouched, very clean. The watch winds and sets well and the movement is running strong, start directly when winding. Hence there is no known service history I think it would benefit from a fresh clean and oil if you want to wear it.

the bracelet

One of the highlights of this set. Very heavy, fine- jewelry grade 18K bracelet with signed Longines clasp. It's in fantastic condition, still showing it's original finish, with no stretch.
There are two positions were you can engage the clasps. Should work well up to 19.5 cm wrist size (for my 18 cm wrist I use the smaller position and it's comfortable to wear).

Overall weight of watch with bracelet is 109 grams. I know that movement, crown and dial of a steel Conquest weight 18 grams. This makes >90g 18K gold in total. I assume the bracelet to be around 65g)

what else is there?

The watch comes with the original outer and inner box set in mint condition. Very nicely crafted items. The inner box has a removable wallet which is made of alligator leather.

The Longines extract from the archives confirmes that this watch was invoiced on the 23rd of September in 1955 to the company Ostersetzer (Longines agent in Italy at that time).

the price

I am asking 4.550 EUR (or the equivalent in USD) to me for this highly collectable set.

Bankwire or transferwise is preferred, paypal please add 4% (payment to be done in Euro please in case ofpaypal). The watch and I are located in Germany.

I have many references here on OF, on German watchforums and 500+ of positive feedback on ebay.

Please have a look at the pictures and feel free to answer to this thread or PM me directly if you have any questions. No returns unless condition of thewatch is grossly misrepresented.
