Calendar at 6, something that does not bother to look or aesthetics, this watch looks elegant and distinguishedon the wrist. This is not a medium size watch, the 2627 Omega number case is the most rare and desirable case, not only for the look, itis by its size: 35,20 mm excluding the winding crown, 37,50 mm with the crown, no other Seamaster from this year has such measures.

The movement is the rare caliber 353, also called 28.10 SC. Introduced in 1950, this was one of the Omega company’s classic bumper mechanisms from the era before the switch was made to rotor winding. These were brilliant designed units that were assembled to the highest possible quality standard, completely in-house by Omega. Serial Nº 12528214, correspond to 1952.

Full mechanical service executed in August 2013. The watch keeps time accurately.

The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, minor signs of wear, is very hard to find this watch in SS case, usually when you find one, is in solid gold, or gold caped. This is a high end auction houses watch.

The original Omega SS crown correspond to the case and the year. Back case Nº 2627.
