This rare & highly desirable watch has a very good condition, the Omega cream dial is bright and beautiful, never restored ,with a slight age patina. Golden arrow hour markers, and original golden dagger hands.

Calendar at 3, this watch looks elegant and distinguishedon the wrist. Case number 2849, measure 34,5 mm excluding the winding crown.

The movement is the caliber 503, 20 jewels, only 169.000 pieces produced, these were brilliant designed units that were assembled to the highest possible quality standard, completely in-house by Omega. First Omega caliber with "quick date setting" (turn hands clockwise 'till your reach midnight, then turn back to eleven )

Full mechanical service executed in March 2016. The watch keeps time accurately.

The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, minor signs of wear, is very hard to find this watch in SS case, usually if you find one, is in solid gold, or gold caped. Big Omega logo was the first Hippocampus symbol for Seamaster line, and produced for a few months during 1958. In the picture you can see the difference between both Hippocampus symbol.

The original Omega SS four leaf crown correspond to the case and the year.

The Watch comes with a new high quality leather watchband with SS Omega buckle, also with the used original Omega leather strap.

Reduced to 850 €, shipping cost and Pay Pal included. Open to reasonable offers. Watch is in Barcelona.

Thanks to the OF and for your time.

I am not affiliated with seller, but have interest in this reference (note my avatar showing gold medallion which came on most gold capped ref). I assume seller posted that picture to show difference in size of Seamaster medallion on case back. I have also read that they were produced around 1958 for a short period and possibly the first Seamaster with center medallion. I'm aware of only three case references which had the larger medallion, approximately 19mm diameter vs later 14mm. Ref 2975, cal 501 no date, ref 2848 cal 503 w/date, and one other ref which was a smaller diameter "midsize" with I think a cal 470, which I've owned but cannot remember ref #.

You are right, sorry, I make a mistake with the 2326 case picture.
