1950s Omega Seamaster Calendar: Reasonable Value?

Found this on local FB marketplace and was hoping to get a value confirmation before purchasing. I’m not looking to purchase and resell, just don’t want to be fleeced, so I figured I would find the experts. See pictures below. Seller is asking $1400.

Redial.. not worth the asking price. Value is predominantly in the case and movement.

This is so heavily polished, there’s not much value left in the case either.

Had this been an original dial and a nice case, the price would’ve still been too expensive.

While this particular watch is rather overpriced and a re-dial, as has been said above, the 2627 reference is very cool: it's the first Omega with a calendar. Another watch of this reference could be a good way to get into vintage Omegas
