*** SOLD ***

Back up for sale. Asking $1,200 with cordovan strap and signed buckle included (6-17-18).

Case: The case measures 36mm sans crown with 19mm lugs. The case does show signs of some light polishing but overall is still in good condition.

Dial: The dial does show patina and has a warm hue to it. I find the color pleasing even compared to my other 2748 (now sold). You can see comparison photos below. I found this one hard to photograph as it looks much better in person. Arrowhead markers are apparently white gold on this reference.

Crown: Original signed crown.

Movement: Cal. 266 in the 14 million range. It appears to be working as intended but the service history is unknown. Please assume it needs a service.

Crystal: The crystal is low profile and in great condition.

Strap and Buckle: See more recent reply with pictures of the included strap / buckle.

This is the same watch sold by Tony C. here.

I'm asking $1,200 (previously $1,800) shipped continental US. Paypal payment preferred.

DHL International express for an extra $50.

You can look me up under the same name on ebay.

Added movement pics and dropped the price 👍.

Would consider trades for military watches.

Guys, this is a truly charming watch, the dial looks much better and warmer than has been conveyed in the pictures (sorry wstmtn).
This reference wears generously, shows a kind of classic styling you can't imitate, and has an absolutely fantastic caliber inside.
If I didn't have one I'd be first in line.

Crosshairs.. arrowhead markers.. two tone dial.. 30mm movement.. slim oversized case.. stainless steel..

It's surprisingly still available. I'm asking $1,800 but I will take offers.

Edit: Adding a picture borrowed from the previous seller (thanks Tony C.) as I think it better captures how the watch looks in the flesh. It seems like my iphone pics add contrast.

These are classic, and I still own several.

Understated? Yes. Under the radar in a market in which flashy chronographs and divers largely rule? Yes. But for those who appreciate the best of the time-only watches from the 1950s, a good example of these early Genève models is well worth owning.

Edit: Watch has been withdrawn. It's up for auction on ebay.

This was from yesterday (overcast lighting).

Back up for sale and with the current price I'm taking a substantial loss on this one. 🤨

It's a nice & honest watch, but posting that you're losing money isn't going to help you sell it. We can't help it if you grossly overpaid for it in the first place.
