Please inquire if you are interested in purchasing this with the vintage beads-of-rice bracelet from the original listing.] Putting my 1950s 2759-5 2761 back on sale, this time with a 1502 BoR bracelet. I’m a fan of these bracelets to the point, possibly, of overdoing it, but my watches are much less likely to be sweated right off my wrist during the summer than they would be on a leather band. That said, this watch looks really good if not even better on a rustic leather or reptile band. If you prefer a head-only sale, I’m all ears and more than willing to let my BoR bracelet collection continue to grow. I purchased this in July 2019 from the well-known Nagoya-based online seller Closer0610. I haven’t had it serviced; timekeeping seems fine but a service is definitely in order. I believe the dial is original; the logo, with its Türler branding, is slightly off-center, which is a thing I’ve seen on other examples of this model. The dial has patinated in a way I, at least, like, and the hands show some corrosion. The crown is likely a replacement. The case has seen a polish in its lifetime but the facets are still visible and the whole thing looks solid on the wrist. I am looking for $595 for this watch and the bracelet, but as I mentioned, I would be happy to make a head-only deal if you prefer. Shipping from Japan typically adds about $24-$29 dollars.
