Hi, I am new to watch collection and was hoping for some insight on this watch's authenticity/value.

The watch is an Omega vintage 1947 Omega Bumper Watch. The photo of the movement has the Omega 342 movement stamp, which I believe is accurate. It is a 14k gold filled case. The size is 34.7mm. There are no papers or box. And the watch had been serviced recently. The dial has even numbers on it. The listed price is $450.
Thanks for any help!

It appears to be an authentic US-cased Omega with a repainted dial. The movement has seen some rough treatment over the years.

Agree the dial was refinished. Not a good purchase, bad condition, gold filled and overpriced =avoid.

Has that really been serviced recently ?
That's what the seller said. But yea I agree with everyone else that the movement looks quite worn down

I wouldn't buy this watch because of the dial and case, and I know I made a comment about the movement, but I don't want to over-emphasize the cosmetic appearance of a 70+ year-old movement. That fact that the surface finish is worn off various movement parts wouldn't necessarily be a deal-breaker for me if there were other things I liked about the watch and the price were right.

I'm not making any comment here about whether or not the watch was service.
