For sale is a steel Longines from the late 30's, the case design usually is called "coin edge bezel" for the flat wide bezel or maybe "calatrava" from some but that would really be a stretch.
But nevermind, I will let the beautiful design speak for it self instead :)

No lume dial with painted "bauhaus" styled numerals and blued leaf hands, pretty much flawless dial and is of course all original.
The simple dial layout and thin numerals and minute track along with the wide flat bezel makes it look and wear bigger than its size IMO.
See attached wristshots on my 17.5cm wrist.

Case is 32,5mm excluding the crown and 16mm between the lugs, snapback caseback. It has fixed bars and sits on a nice vintage bamboo bracelet marked C+W that will be included. Crown is a later replacement (since its signed and Longines did not sign their crowns in the 30s) but looks correct in style.
Except a few pits on the caseback the case is very well preserved.

12.68z movement that is running strong and keeping good time, but no know service history.

Price: 750EUR net to me by bankwire. I’m located in Sweden.
