·Seeking your advice regarding my "almost" dream watch. Found this in eBay.
Likes
- mint condition, sharp case. Really good for a 18k soft material.
- original mint dial (don't mind having the date window, miss the tiny 3 marker)
- mint condition movement (161)
Dislikes
- after market strap and buckle
- markers look painted black and not onyx( my fav)
- wish movement was 164 with the quick date.(will not be a safe queen)
-may be tempted to cheat on her for a deluxe model
Queries
- Any warning signs I missed? Shouldn't 66 be onyx and not paint?
- are crowns ever solid gold in these models? If yes how to make sure they are original/ correct gold replacements?
- dream watch but don't want to pay dream price, what will be close to the fair market value? Will help as it's an auction.
Posting the eBay link here. Hope one of you grab it. I have a feeling it will be way too expensive for me.
