Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for your advice regarding a possible sale of my vintage Omega Constellation Pie-Pan, reference 14393/4 SC, from 1962.

It is the 18K solid gold version with the original 18K Omega bracelet, and the watch is in very beautiful condition. The Observatory medallion is sharp, the case is not over-polished, and the bracelet has the correct Swiss hallmarks and manufacturer stamp. The watch was fully serviced by an official Omega dealer in 2019 (documentation available).

Before I create a proper sales listing, I would like to ask:

  • Is it allowed to offer this watch for sale here?
  • Would there be interest from collectors in this model?

Thank you very much for your guidance.

Thanks @efauser ! I think I will have to sell my vintage watch through a dealer, as I am unable to meet the posting requirements here.

Thank you @Werndli

You have a nice 14393 watch there.
The case is a little polished but still presentable.
It has a good looking pie pan dial.
The crown is a service replacement.
The bracelet doesn't look like an Omega bracelet.

I only say this so that you know what to expect if you go to a dealer.

The watch is desirable but not a top-notch collectors piece.
However, due to the high gold price the value of the watch (and bracelet if also 18k) is more or less its gold weight.
The nice dial does add a bit of a premium - especially for a non-collector looking for a really nice pie pan dress watch.

Hope that helps

Dear @Peemacgee

Thank you for your detailed feedback, I appreciate it.
I just wanted to show the watch and get an impression of what to expect.
I will most likely sell it through a dealer, as that is the simplest route for me.

To be fair, I will also post the result from Dealer once I receive their feedback.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment !
