Any suggestions on where you've found 17mm leather straps that you like? I've heard suggestions of trimming more-common 18mm to fit, but don't know that I would like that. Thanks.

 

I’ve had some good experience with this guy on Etsy. Was a bit concerned initially with his location in Russia, but the straps are well made and his communication was very good.

You could also look at 5/8” straps. They are only 1.1mm narrower than 17mm. I really doubt anyone would notice the difference.

 

Finding 17mm strap is quite hard, i have to make do with a cheap generic strap that costs 6usd. Quality is not that bad.
