Authenticity is definitely important, because I wouldn't want to buy a fake, thinking its real either. And the experts here have of course ruled this item as "fake." I was of course only jesting. And appreciating the model as well....imaging how beautiful the real article would be, if the fake looks this nice.
Didn't realize that someone would come along and and get excited enough to try and humiliate me. Should have put up a qualifier for "Non-garbage comments only!" and I would have complied. Oh well...

'mild' comments are a hallmark of post farming.
Post farming makes people mad.
Beware.
Jesting seems to be better appreciated for jesters with more posts under their belt.
I post a fair amount of 'jests' myself and most of them seem to fall flat.
Maybe it's because I'm not funny.

There seems to be a distinction between repainted/refurbished/reworked dials and ones that are deliberate frauds. Dials that are 'creatively' reimagined tend not to be too popular here. Dials that are created with the purpose of defrauding a potential buyer are not only not popular but extremely unwanted/unwelcome.
Be careful which kind of 'fake' you're dealing with.

You should probably put a disclaimer on any garbage posts you make.
