路Looking to buy a 168 series omega. I love the case as it reminds me of vintage oyster cases without the high price. I am looking to pickup one as a graduation gift to myself. I would like one with a clean dial and a bracelet. I have come across this very clean 168.0061 with the original box and bracelet. The price is 1300 usd.
The only down side here is the movement (1011) as I have heard it is not as desirable as the 564 series. The bracelet is quite unique which is interesting probably will get an after market BOR bracelet down the line if I end up picking up this watch. What is everyone鈥檚 thoughts for the price is it good compared to what I see on chrono24 it seems reasonable if not well priced.
I think finding one in such condition might be difficult. For the price should I get this or try hold out for a 168.024 with 564 movement or will that be too difficult for this price.
Also what are the differences amongst models as far as I know there are 2 168s with 5xx series movement one chronometer certified and one not and then 2 10xx movements chronometer and not.
your advice is always appreciated! 馃榾
