Hi, I am planning to buy me a Omega Seamaster, probably a 600. Now I found two offers which are looking quite promising. But I doubt a bit if they are authentic. Could you please have a look at the pictures of the back cover. I believe that the engravings of the omega logo look strange. Thank you and Best regards RS

Here is one I used to own with lightly etched Seamonster on back like your lower picture.
(We also like to see the other sides of watch and inside too)

Hi Sog, thanks for your contribution. I will add pictures of the front later. What I meant is A) the circle around the logo is completely missing on the first picture, also the omega sign (greek letter) is missing and B) on the second picture the etched circle seems to be partially vanished, i.e. it doesn't seem to be a engraving at all but something drawn on the metal. This looks odd. What do you think? Thank you and Best Regards

The etching on the back of these is very shallow and easily worn or scratched off. Thats what youre seeing on the bottom photo.

The case back has been polished on the first example, possibly to remove an engraving. That’s why part of the etching is missing.

The second has been worn away, or perhaps someone started polishing it, realised the etching is shallow and was being removed by the polishing and so stopped.
