166.032/168.023 Straps - Curved Ends Required?

I just purchased a 166.032 Seamaster and of course even before the watch has gotten to me, I'm obsessing over leather straps to get for it. I'm wondering though if I'm going to need curved end straps for the watch, since it seems like the lugs are quite short for it's 36.5mm diameter. Can any other owners here attest to whether curved straps are needed? Thanks!

+1, works without an issue with straight spring bars / straps.

Thanks guys! I will absolutely share photos, hopefully the watch arrives soon. The seller had it on a 20mm strap that it looks like they trimmed at the ends, so I'm looking at a few different 19mm options from Veblenist to replace that.
