I found a great deal of fantastic scholarship on this forum. I appreciate you all.
I have an opportunity to pick up what I think is a beautiful watch but I’m 100% ignorant on SM300. Only the talking watches episode helped me discern the model.

Is there anything that stands out as wrong or incorrect with this piece? Thank you all.

first impression:

seems to be authentic, but to substantiate we need
pictures from caseback inside, movement (shoult be 565)
and movement number (end 1960s perhabs)

Looks good to me. Should have a Cal. 565 or 563 and be from near the end of production.

Dial does have some water damage and patina, but that’s fairly common with these.

serialnumber and caseback inside has to be checked
