I am calling the SM 300 experts regarding this dial I got from a watchmakers estate. Mostly I would be interested if this is dial is legit.

What I found out so far, please correct me if I am wrong, since I am far from beeing an expert on these:

It belongs to a 166.024, big triangle, Seamaster 300 date, later than 1966, fitting a caliber 562, maybe 565 too.

The condition except from the lume dicoloration is very good, both dial feet look straight. Pinholes at 12 and 6 are visible, the lume has a yellowish colour and does glow for a few seconds after exposed to a bright light source. Since my daughter got hold of my UV lamp for a school project, I will provide pics of the lume reaction to UV later.

6 and 9 have open loops, date window has a white frame, all the writings look correct to me, compared to comfirmed original dials. The matte black surface is smooth to slightly grainy. On the backside you can read 98*562.

I would be very happy to hear your opinions about this dial regarding its legibility and condition. Some of the pics are made using the flash, some without. If better pics are needed or different details, please let me know.

Thank you in advance and kind regards
