Little depressing but we do love Costco. I highly recommend the Costco Wine Blog and, yes Kirkland wines are killer, especially French and Italian wines. As stated, no mystery, the winemaker is always on the label. My kid buys his eyeglasses there. We always rent our cars through Costco travel.

Kirkland XO Cognac is the best deal i ever have from costco if still available

no much different from Hennessy or Remy Martin XOs to my taste
