    Up to about serial 3059xxxx should have DON

    correct. that's why the "about" ;) accuracy guaranteed to +/- 10000 (or more)

    Also difficult I guess because some of those numbers between 3058xxxx and say 3100xxx were probably assigned to some chrono seamasters

    Should be in the transition period of DON and 220 bezel wirh that serie ?

    According to MWO, 220 bezels are on watches only produced in the fall of 1970. Because Omega serial numbers do not strictly sequentially correspond to production dates, only an extract would confirm whether a 220 bezel was correct in this case. Oh the vagaries of mass production :eek:
