    It's on ebay too...

Obviously not 'untouched' given the bezel.. hard to say much without better pics.

Tough to tell from the pictures, but it looks like most of the plot lume is gone.

Was that band ever used on a Speedmaster?

What to eBay Sellers think they gain when all their sales transactions are kept private?

Oh I have no idea just seem to see a lot of similar claims out there. Maybe the one on eBay was recently serviced?

That bracelet is similar to the one that was on the '67 I bought last month, only mine did not include the Omega stamp. Speculated to be made in Mexico for one of the big department stores?. It is supposed to be from that time frame. I would guess it's worth a couple hundred $, but not nearly as much as one of the more standard bracelets.

The J/M stands for Joske's/Mexico. Joske's was a huge department store in Texas in the 60's and 70's, and was an Omega AD. They were apparently big enough to commission some of their own bracelets. You're right about the price, though these are really nice bracelets (I have a couple).

    More here.

    Thanks for the info

My '67 is still sporting the J/M, even though I picked up a more traditional Omega bracelet from someone of the forum a few weeks back. Not sure when I will switch, as the J/M has been fine.

I think the ad was full of BS. I wrote the seller about the replaced bezel, and he responded back that he had owned the watch since 1989, and no work had been done to it in that time frame. But then I saw he sells a lot of used watches, so even that clam is dubious. Glad no one committed to spending any more that $3900 on it, as I suspect it will take a couple thousand more $s to get it to the state that he claimed it was already at..

Replaced bezel and a washed out dial.

It hardly gets the blood pumping.

It seems that the good examples are going big, but the middle of the road ones have only seen a slight increase.

    "Condition, condition, condition".

Did the seller end the auction early or did it actually end with a bid? Hoping it ended and that was the bid.

The auction didn't end early. The time ran out.
