Hello all, this 1945 beauty has been in my family since new, believed to have been given to my grandfather upon release from the British army at the end of WW2. Forgotten in a drawer for decades, I 'found' it in recent months and sent it to the wonderful Mitka to breathe new life into it.

Mitka reported that, other than (a lot of) dirt, nothing much was wrong it. He also confirmed that it was all original, including the dial which had been refinished previously.

I got the watch back from Mitka a week after the birth of our first daughter, June. It looks stunning, and keeps time better than I thought possible. The 33mm case is a touch large for her at present, but it's a pleasing thought that one day...

A big shout-out to Mitka, his outstanding reputation is 100% merited!
