Sent my POC for service via AD and when I picked it up I noticed the chrono hand not aligned with either the Omega symbol or the lume marker at 12 O'Clock. I of course refused it and stated it was never like that before and after a chat where the manager said he'd seen chrono hands off before and it's not an issue?! WTF the AD staff said they would send back to be rectified. Like a fool I didn't take any photos of the watch before but in reality every high end watch I see has hands that line up perfectly with all aspects of the face right? Or am I being stupid?
Was it serviced by an Omega certified/trained/experienced watchmaker? Or the local guy that changes batteries for the AD? Stick to your guns and don't accept it until it's fixed and elevate it to Omega (official Omega) if it escalates.
