I was keeping an eye on this but figured it would go for bigger money than I was prepared to pay. https://www.arthurjohnson.co.uk/results/0798/S2?s=omega#07981011-1 Sure enough - hammed price £8,800 + buyer's premium = £10,912 or ~$15250 ~€12,500 Now, it looks like a lovely watch - box, papers, the lot. Question, though - is that lume a bit too yellow? Is it too even? Does anyone else think it must have been relumed, or is it so original and basically unworn that it's just evenly discoloured?
Was discussed on this too. https://omegaforums.net/threads/this-could-be-a-bit-special-going-to-see-it-tomorrow.74800/
The colour in the photo was terrible. In hand, the watch was simply unworn; kept in a box for decades; came from South Africa.
