Hi, someone was ever so kind to put more photos up. Not literate enough to figure out how to post multiple pictures. I am literate with other aspects like email and office items. I will say repairing watches has nothing to do with computers unless you're using a cad/cam program (I do not know how to use them though). If there are more details I can provide, please list them and I will. I can do the hustle (1978-1982) flat out on the disco floor, but am not sure of a straight hustle...

Quite obviously, as I do not know you, this was nothing at all personal. Rather, it was directed more towards the post itself.

But also worth noting, I believe the number one thread on OF with the most comments is on fakes & scams. With the amount these watches trade at anymore, who can afford to not have the details matter?

Question: Given '78-'82, do you still have your polyester suits?

No, but those platform shoes are somewhere around here

If you want to do some independent research the website speedmaster101.com has pages for this exact reference to help you grade the watch on condition as well as a price list to help you figure out a value once you know what you have.

105.003 guide: https://speedmaster101.com/105-003/

Pricing guide: https://speedmaster101.com/price-chart-2/

Best of luck!
Thank you, I appreciate it. I'm probably just going to keep it in the trade pile, but certainly will do the homework on it.

This forum serves as a discussion community for collectors and others, and these threads become useful repositories of knowledge and discussion. As such, it is generally expected that all photos and information be included directly in the thread so that the thread itself serves as a useful ongoing part of the archive. You will see that this is always requested of members, if they attempt to post links to other platforms instead of uploading photos directly.

So if you would like to benefit from the unparalleled knowledge about vintage Speedmasters on this forum, I would suggest that you make an effort to abide by the generally accepted forum standards. To discuss your watch, it will be necessary to have comprehensive photos of dial, case, etc. It's extremely easy to do compared to other forums, and apparently you already figured out how to do it. More information from the extract (or a photo) would also be useful. The more you give, the more you will receive.

Edit: That said, I had a look at the IG account, and the watch has some major issues. So don't get too excited, OF scavengers. On the bright side, there is a cat photo, so the OP may actually have some potential as an OF contributor. 👍
Thanks!, I finally got the extract this morning. I paid for it last May, not even going to go into it how hard it was to get. On the extract it says delivered to US Army (European Exchange System). Can anyone tell me what that means? I do not have the OXG on the balance cock. Thanks again for the help.

Perhaps sold in a PX?
I kinda thought that as well, I'm not military and was wondering what type of jargon that would have been in 66
