Hello folks,

I bought my 105.003-65 last year from a very famous collector and dealer. It came with a very beautiful dial and the case was described as "looks unpolished". It also got an Extract from the Archives.

Recently, after I read more about the case difference between -64 and -65, I realise that my case should actually be a -64 case! I have 2 reasons supporting my statement:
1. There is no facets at the lugs. I don't think it was due to over polish, because I have seen quite a few over polished -65 case, the end view of the lugs of these -65 cases look very square, but mine looks very long(rectagular), which is exactly like the -64 case.

2. Most importantly, the case back is a RJ or FJ type, and the case pusher holes should be threaded. However, my case pushers are compression type and there is no thread inside the hole.

So I believe the case should be a -64 case. So I want to trade my -64 case for a -65 case. I'd like to pay the difference if your case is of better condition.

I'd also like to buy your -65 case if you prefer a cash sale.

Some more pictures of my case:

Just curious: did you discuss the issue with the person that sold you the watch?

No, it was one year ago so I don't know if I can still ask for anything.

Again, just curious: is it possible the date of the watch makes it possible that it’s an early ‘65, and therefore that case could be ok?

It was produced in Jan 1968, a very late -65.
