Hello

I believe this watch to be ref 2576 ??. It's very similar to 2576 11, but the hands are different. I have seen these hands on other watches from this period.

This watch is a family piece (grandfather) that I have had in my care and possession since the 1980s. I have the original receipt and other items.

I have never had the watch serviced. It just "works" and keeps good time.

I would like to fix this up WITHOUT messing it up. Now, I'm only able to wear it to Western-themed gatherings due to the band.

What if any restoration would you recommend that would allow me to enjoy it more often without diminishing the value or messing this up for my children?

Thanks,
Aaron

Very nice, original 2576 ref as you say. Share where you’re located and people can weigh in with watchmaker recommendations. Make sure the watchmaker ONLY serviced the watch - no cosmetic changes (case polish, crown or hand swap, etc.). Crystal polish is fine.

You can also easily change the bracelet to any 18mm strap you like.

Please do! Jack Sparrow would love this bracelet 😁
Nice watch, it will clean up just fine and look great on a leather strap!

Just service it and please, remove that bracelet 😁

What happened to the crown? From this angle I cannot really see the Omega logo
