·Hello Everyone
I do know that I recently asked for advise on buying a vintage Omega Constellation. Well I did pull the trigger and purchased one online. I do believe I got a fair deal and a fair purchase price. I do believe if you want a quality item or service you have to let the provider of that service make a fair profit so I don't really mind paying a little extra for quality. That being said before buying I had never seen a vintage Constellation in person. I am completely thrilled with my new watch! But there is an issue, it is very difficult to hand wind with the 10-sided crown as I can not grip the crown well enough to hand wind. Otherwise I am really satisfied with my purchase this watch is very elegant and functions perfectly. About 10-years ago I bought a Brookstone watch winder which really has seen little use, I have been using this to wind the Omega for 15-minutes before wearing but I'm concerned about causing any unnecessary wear as this watch is 57-years old. I will enclose photos below and appreciate any feedback thanks! OK trying to post photos from my iPhone but keep getting error message for wrong extension will try again if someone explains what I need to do.
