    On a bring a loupe page this week this insane Ed White showed up:

    I don't think i ever seen anything crazier than this when we talk about Ed white :eek::eek::eek:

    It's not an Ed White... it was worn by Icarus , looks like its dial & bezel burnt together with his wax wings as he was flying too close to the Sun !

    The value of the watch is in the dial, which for an Ed White is pretty incredible.

    mad long is disclosed I have no problem with that ;)

    The bezel is a service one for me it’ sa bit ackward that it’s colour is the same as the dial . Both dial and bezel are to close in colour with the same brown fading to be true.
    Maybe i am totaly wrong but it will be interesting to do an x-ray image of the watch or carbon-14 dating to explore the different layers of the dial materials.

    It is stated in the listing that the bazel has been chemicallly altered.
    That dial is too perfect to be faked and i haven't seen any fake tropical dial that is close to be like a good one.

    Seems that the photograph from the previous seller change (at least partially) his opinion on pots and dial...
