Limited to 7,007 pieces. At what point does a limited edition stops being actually limited?

but plastering all that 'Spectre' and '007' crap all over it just ruins it.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see any Spectre or 007 "crap" on this watch.

I know there will be something on the caseback and the keeper that my guess is nobody will really notice .

I don't care for it much but I do like that it is not an "in your face" LE Bond watch.

I think its neat kinda... the GMT thing. But the dial change not so much. As others have pointed out, a nice big 12 Lumed triangle would do nicely. The reason? Because the standard 300 has a lumed insert dot dealio on the bezel, without which (as it appears now, just a '0'), there is some serious lack of time telling ability (arguably an important feature for a watch) at the dark hours of the night. I mean, I already have to remember to set the bezel dot above the luscious 12 in order to tell time when it is on the nightstand. I wish for a bigger 12 triangle or some subtlety or another on the face. Oh well, life is hard 馃槈

It is more toned down than usual, but I dont like the movie tie in. I think it cheapens the watch. In the same way that I don't have dinosaurs on my lunchbox or superman on my underpants anymore.

If it was a simple limited edition or an alternate edition I'd be all over it.

I think a secret agent can be trusted to have an instinctive feel for the time and what if he was creeping up on an enemy in the dark with his cuff slightly rolled back? He'd be dead meat, trust Omega - they have thought this thing through, this is no oversight or poor design, they have 007's best interests to heart

The article is describing what is to appear in the release that's all.

Yes. I agree.
Seriously, how many "not so" limited editions is Omega going to pump out. Move on Omega the Bond franchise talk might be great around those long evening meals in Geneva where everyone thinks they are wannabe fictionalised Bonds but...really? Don't get me wrong. I see the point in the marketing and the placement to sell their product (it's good marketing) but that's what it is becoming a product and not a timepiece - somehow that seems secondary. Isn't that what Apple is doing in its own way. I know Rolex did it with the GMT-Master 6542 now nicknamed "Pussy Galore" but, as I see it, no prize for seconds. Sorry Omega - still luvya to death though.

I get that they made the logo bigger for screen purposes - but damn, is it ever ugly.

Here is a line-up I've pieced together of all the Bond LEs. Thought I'd share at the risk of causing a collective 馃う .

Not included is the 2014 all-gold Goldfinger 50th since there was only one made. I did try to keep the relative scale of the case sizes correct.

Hey, even if you don't like any of them, you can always print them and use as a dart board! 馃榿

Nice put together. Was the 2920.80 a "Bond watch"?

I do really like the lollipop, would be cool to see that appear in the main line SM300 as an option

Yes, it's an excellent regular production Bond model, but not a Limited Edition. No references to Bond or Bond movies anywhere on it.

Nice work Lou P! I'm really squinting here, but my main concern about the symmetrical dial on the latest 300 007 might be for nothing. I think the 12 o'clock lumed triangle may be the smallest of the bunch...so with a keen eye at night the time can be told. Very good.

All I'm wondering is how much of a premium is to be paid for a bond sm300 over the standard model. The seconds hand is an improvement but I wonder how much extra it costs for that one small detail. You can keep the rest of the changes for me though. I would hope it comes with the bracelet as well because I would be miffed with only the NATO to put it on.

Nice work @Lou P ... Seen like that, the Spectre SM300 is truly the least awful of them all! 馃槻... I wonder how many LE watches have been made in total so far ...? 馃檮

Someone at Omega has lost the plot with these LE watches.

@Nobel Prize the Skyfall AT was't a LE.. it was just his watch.

The Skyfall LE was the Aston Martin grill PO, and the Bond 50 SMP also released that year.

This is really well done, Thanks... Reminds me why I have none of them though... But I do (did) have every one of the actual watches worn in his movies...no '007' markings...

This Spectre comes as a bit of a surprise... as he normally wears a watch, not a product in the films...

I can understand that the logo would have to be bigger to be identified on screen, but to have him wear the LE seems wrong...

You would think that they would sell a lot more than 7007 SM300 had they just used the traditional watch on screen. There are rumors of 3 bond watches..the Aqua terra MC 41mm (likely opening sequence) -- ( I would have suspected standard Blue, God help us, hopefully not the family crest one LE one)...This one... and ?? I may bet that the Standard SM300 is still used, and this LE may involve a gadget of some kind, given to him by Q in a scene that will piss off every Rolex owner in the world..

Of course it could be a 3rd LE that gets featured...::facepalm1::
