    Hey, hey.

I don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but some photos of Daniel Craig, (in character), on set, have emerged. I've seen a thread on here about the special edition Aqua Terra Gauss that was made for the movie, but in these photos at least, I think he is wearing something quite different. It's on a grey/black nato (hello Connery), and I can't really make out the watch, but it almost looks as if it has a rotating bezel, (The lugs also look too sharp for the AT).
I'm guessing it could be the new SM300 Re-issue on an Omega Nato. It wouldn't make sense for Omega to put an Aqua Terra on a nato, at least not in my mind.

I think you're right about the new SM300. I predict natos to become increasingly popular as well. But no way I'm paying $150 for a nato.

I agree ... That's what it looks like to me as well. Good move on Omega's part. The AT appeared in Skyfall and got a ton of positive exposure. It figures that they'll follow the same formula for the SM300. Looks great on a NATO ...

The SM300 was the best choice IMO.

The Bond special editions are never used in the movies. They are for the merchandise-hungry fanboys ;)

I suppose he wouldn't be much of a secret agent if he wore a watch that says to the world "Hi, I'm James Bond, secret agent 007". Which makes me wonder ... in movie after movie, the villain knows Bond's code number. What the heck was up with that?

I'll take the suit over the watch though, just me.

Based on the not-so Limited Edition release of the AT, I think it is safe to assume he will wear both a 41.5 blue dial master co-axial AT and a SM300 on the black/grey NATO strap.

I wouldn't be surprised if a LE SM300 was also in the works.

Bespoke Tom Ford Suit ~ $6,000, SM300 Re-Issue ~ $6,000. I'd take the Omega and run 5 years into the future when TF's massive lapels and ticket pockets fall out of vogue.

But the suit looks better to me. I would love the SMp 300 if it wasn't trying so hard to be vintage. I would have loved if they just made a tritium new series and allowed it to age by itself. The suit is new.

Not sure the suit can be labeled bespoke though, a little too much shine.

I do agree, the faux vintage really does get to me. But I've viewed the watch in person, and the lume does not appear as yellowed as it does in photographs. I also first thought, "Why not release it with tritium, and let it age.", but Ferrari would be hard-pressed to forgo fuel injection for antiquated carburettors purely for the purpose of fabricating vintage charm. I think it would have been quite appropriate just to release the SM300 with white super-luminova and call it a day.

I actually went to buy it, but I got the AT instead. It just didn't quite get me.

I was just about to post that! Glad I used the search bar(TM) :D

So now gasgasbones' website is back up and running after a break, should I get a (correct) regimental bond NATO, or (newly correct in a weird homage throwback, historical mistranslation) bond NATO for my WatchCo SM300?

Why not? The original bond nato is green black red though, not sure if Omega makes it, but the gray is very versatile!!

Ah, I was being somewhat wry above, since it seems that the grey-black bond that previously was not the 'real' bond (the regimental colors being proper), is now through some historical style mistranslation actually a real bond in it's own right! :)

I was though leaning toward the new-old grey and black... Cheers!
