somewhere I saw a link to some straps on E bay that were a human wrist size tribute to the full size velcro speedmaster strap. Anybody know what I'm talking about and might have a link for me?

I am pretty sure that Italian strap maker GLC straps are making them

If I get your gist, is it this item number: 252271016441?
That looks like the one but for some reason, I'm thinking they had different colors and they were like half the cost. Thanks for the link!

They've come up before in other threads, but I have several Kelaran straps from ebay seller Soulsis. They don't cost much, look good, hold up and are made well. They don't ship outside U.S. seems to be the biggest gripe I've read about them. I always seem to have 4 or 5 of their straps hanging out in an ebay cart. Don't ever pay their full price... if the strap is not 10-25% off, just wait a few days and it will be shortly.

@Syrte Great list! I have been contemplating several straps from Mansarea but didn't know of anyone that had purchased from them for some feedback. Looks great on the Seiko!

Thanks Illiknight.... I'm actually contemplating buying more from Mansarea...

I should add I'm also a great fan of Atelier Jean Rousseau:

They make classic bespoke straps at reasonable cost.
They're very nice too, agreed to craft an alligator strap with rivets I provided them for an Omega military watch with fixed lugs:

All the best,

Bought this strap from Bulang during their 20% summer sale for my PO 2500 and it is a dream to wear. I haven't taken it off since it has arrived. During the summer heat I've had no issues with discomfort and actually feels slipper like on the wrist. Worth every penny IMHO.

The only negative is I am not a fan of their newer style tang buckle......I may change that out soon.

Best to purchase JPM straps directly from him. You can simply show him a Bulang strap you want and he'll make it for you at a discount to what they would charge, which are his regular prices.

I'm a bit of a Bulang snob (https://bulangandsons.com/). I haven't found anyone close to their quality (at a lower price point, at least), and the only reason I even looked at/ordered from other brands was because a) Bulang is a little pricey, and b) the shipping takes a while from EU to the US. That said, they fit like a glove, have a great profile on the wrist, and look fantastic.

I couldn’t agree more, CF! B&S make beautiful straps.

Editing and updating this as several threads have been combined into one. Straps are my favorite subject!!

- Martu straps- great thick shiny python
- Mansarea on Ebay - great colors and hides, from green gator to red ostrich or multicolor python- thick and chunky for sporty watches and panerai;

- for beautiful cordovan straps, Myron @roverhaven;

- For tan or grey suede (JPM
Style), great value at only 30 euros- Fluco straps sold by Holben’s fine straps on Ebay-

also LS italian accessories on Ebay;

they also have gained calf:

- for higher end projects, best value I found is Atelier Jean Rousseau, cheaper and better service IMO than Camille Fournet;
- last but not least, now I found an italian artisan on the Italian forum who does great straps at a great price.
And well, of course if you want to be a real snob the best quality of all is Hermes— but you could almost get a little vintage watch for the price of the strap.
