I am looking at getting a Horween shell cordovan wrist strap for a moonwatch. After getting some recommendations I was wondering if anyone had enough to compare and give some thoughts on The Rios1931, Fluco Horween shell cordovan, and finally the crown and buckle. Probably looking at the natural crown and buckle, brown fluco, and cognac rios 1931. if thoughts on fluco and rios are good enough I might get both to cover lighter and darker brown but I have no idea how easy or hard it is to switch straps as I do not have the moonwatch yet.

Fluco makes a very nice quality strap and Holben’s has 2 day shipping from WA

I have a couple of Rios straps, though not in Horween. They seem fine to me, especially for the price point on sale.

View attachment 1012672 View attachment 1012673 Hey there Everybody. Hope You are all well.
I recently had 2 straps custom made for me by George @Genteel. They are handmade and are works of art in themselves. I had my 1963 Constellation
Pie pan outfitted with the cognac Alligator. Completely changed the look of the
Colour hue of the face. Beautiful. Very comfortable. Very secure.

Next I decided to dress my P.O. 600 Titanium GMT up with a dark navy Alligator
With a Royal Blue inner panel. The existing Titanium Clasp was very easy to fit.
The Look changed dramatically with a more open space between the case and the lug area. It now has a more dress look rather than that of a tool watch.
The deep blue face is complimented beautifully by the Alligator with the contrasting white stitching. The Royal Blue inner panel contrasts the outer
Dark blue. I had Fair Winds embossed on the inside...a nod to it’s Nautical
Heritage. Incredibly Comfortable. Very Secure. Great Workmanship.
Each is Your Own Custom Treasure. View attachment 1012672 View attachment 1012672 View attachment 1012674 View attachment 1012674

If you're looking to purchase new, I highly recommend Veblenist watch straps. Howard is great to deal with and the quality is excellent. They have many different styles and types of leather. Here is a photo of the latest 18mm nato in grey leather.

Lovely Vintage Sea Master. There’s something Great about putting on a
Vintage Omega on a Sunday morning. Mine before a lazy cup of Joe...
and the Morning paper. Just a bit of tranquility before a hectic week.

Such pros are Molequin ! Received the strap in 2 days ( from order) to NJ from them—And they still made time to personalize it....

Does anyone happen to know a place where to find a NATO/ZULU strap similar to the one below, but without the €150 Omega OEM price tag?
To be clear, I don't care about the Omega logo on the buckle, I'm mostly interested in the color pattern.

(At a lower price point I'd buy the Omega one, but quite frankly 150 Euros for a nato is a bit silly 🤨)

I just received the below strap from @veblenist, contact with Howard was excellent and he totally understood my requirements and delivered the perfect strap for my Seamaster!

The leather is soft and comfortable to wear instantly &the buckle feels solid.
