Got this back from STS last wednesday.

It's badged Speedmaster and most I've seen are marked as Seamaster. 😀

It's the original dial.

Ok, I don't see any T Swiss made T markings , see my new old stock watch how your dial should look like

According to Swiss Time who are the UK Omega vintage arm it's just a very rare early dial. It doesn't have any tritium so why would it say T Swiss T your dial has tritium on it.

Notice yours also has a black subdial at 6. Yours is the far more coming Seamaster dial.

I give up but one day you will learn it's a redial or replacement dial , wear your watch in good health [emoji4]

Ehh? Come on. If it's a redial where did it come from? That's a pretty shallow accusation to make without actually being able to prove it.
It could even be a prototype.

Yours is definitely a redial. Well a re everything. It's new old stock!!

Do you profess to know more than omega?

I have well trained eyes, all 176.005 in steel had T Swiss made T dials and there were 2 silver dial versions, I'm a professional watchmaker and have a good knowledge about vintage Omega watches and yes it's true I have many Omega new old stock watches and never use the term nos unless it is, check out the red dot on the side of the watch on the picture it's factory sealed and was never opened

I don't doubt your credentials stefan, but I have to take the conversation I had with the manager at STS word above yours surely?

He said he had seen very few of these Speedmaster dials, they are correct but early examples that are few and far between.

Are you saying he's wrong? Surely he will have seen even more vintage omega than you?

I'm open to being wrong.

The watch in the OP has luminous hands so the dial should have the tritium "T" on it if it was original. It could well be a late 90s (or more recent) service dial.

Hang hang on. The guy at STS says its original to the watch. Which part of that is not getting through??

The removed hands, were black and had no tritium. The hands are replacements.
The all black hands that were the originals.

Will upload a photo now.

When servicing they supplied all the old hands for replacement if needed.
