I feel this stuff works much better than Polywatch or toothpaste.

You need to set your day wheel to Kanji. Makes Tuesdays a lot more interesting.

 

Maybe not, looks like Citizen uses different character set (hiragana or katakana?).

 

Haven't seen a Japanese day wheel that isn't Kanji. But it looks like a Persian day wheel on that particular model.
