on the wrist for a couple of days:
bracelet is very nice with all of it's micro adjustments. the end pieces are practically seamless to the naked eye and are very well done for a watch in this price range.
case and bracelet is satin finished with the exception of a small striped, case edge on top. glad they didn't add more bling. which is completely unnecessary for a watch like this. i appreciate brush/satin over polished and the up charge, and prefer the look. Plus it's a great money saver.
the dial seems glossy and the sapphire bezel adds more than enough reflective bling to the watch. the roulette date is also a nice touch
the high points are sharp in places but it's not really a problem. crown is flawless. the lume is excellent on both bezel and dial.
drawbacks: the date did not roll over at 12. it was like 12:02 when it did. also, since the bracelet has on the fly adjustments, the clasp is bigger than i'm used to and i don't really like the hardware/buttons on the side that control the mechanisms. they just seem cheapish. the watch is also pretty heavy with the bracelet, but it does wear bigger because of the added heft, so for some this is a positive.
all and all they could have charged more for this watch, or dropped in a lesser movement, no sapphire bezel and even glass. i wouldn't have purchased it if they skimped on the movement so i'm glad they didn't.
this is great watch from a brand that doesn't have much traction at all. it's good when micro brands compete for your dollar trying to give you more, not less.
