    Greetings all,

Just picked up a decent but ratty looking Seawolf that should clean up beautifully. It’s running but going off to the watchmaker next week for a full refurb.
Unfortunately the bracelet is one link too short for me and I would love to source another link if they can even be added.
The design reminds me of the Expandro’s of the same time in which you pressed the folded link down and the pin bar slid out easily, but the folded part doesn’t press down easily on this. It may be closer in design to the early Rolex stretchy bracelets which I believe you have to pry the fold open to remove/ add a link.
Anyone have experience with these and know where I can track down a link?
    Thanks- requisite pics below.

Funny I was just fiddling with one earlier. Replacing a broken spring from a donor I scrounged off eBay.

I was wondering how these worked. My father in law has probably the nicest 1st generation Seawolf in existence and the bracelet I find fascinating. I wasn't sure how they managed to have an expansion bracelet that looked like a standard oyster, but now I see.

I agree, that is probably one of the finest Gen 1’s I’ve seen.

The reason I picked this one up (and I’ve been looking for a while), is the lume and dial on this is spectacular. Usually they are either complexly flaked off or black as night (moisture, moisture, moisture). What’s amazing is this one still glows! Not even from prolonged U.V., working on my workbench under fluorescent lights for about 15 minutes, I turned off the shop lights and the damn dial was glowing! Totally amazing. It should clean up well I think as the case is sharp and it’s doesnt look like it’s been polished much. The back still has the textured brushing in the center- that’s a good sign.

If you haven’t played with an Expandro, they are probably the best designed stretchy bracelet I have ever seen. The wear and look like an oyster, and require no tool to resize or fit to the watch (they snap over he spring bar). German engineering at its finest.
