i have seen some examples of early primeros w/ the movado name on the movement. i think many know the history of movado and zenith teaming up to try and win the race for the first automatic chronograph. my question is do people think generally the value of an early primero is less if the movado name is on the movement ? is there any actual difference in the movement ?

I think Movado branded parts could have been used as service replacements? I would value the watch for less with a movado rotor

They were all one holding company at one point - Mondia, Zenith, Movado - M-Z-M. I would guess that it is possible that the rotor was swapped in from one of these?
