No reason to believe that it is not original. There were many smaller British retailers whose names appeared on various brands during that period. Also, the seller is based in the UK.

Keep in mind that a re-dialer would never be instructed to use an esoteric retailer on the dial, but a well-known one that would increase the value of the watch.

    Thanks Tony,

I have been comparing price and at 1,300 US, I think this watch may be overpriced.

Nice piece, but the co-branding doesn't add value in this case, it's not Tiffany. ;-)

Do you think that is a fair price or over priced. I really like it but I don’t see them commanding 1300 on any site or forum.

I don't think it's a realistic price for a Zenith Sporto. It's nice, but it's not a jumbo reference (it's only 34mm) and there's nothing really special about it except for the condition. The cal 40 movement is excellent, but this one isn't a certified chronometer.

Maybe I'm missing something, but 885 GBP is more like $1135USD. It is serviced and has a one-year guarantee. Still a steep price, but not as bad as when I thought it was $1300. It's in collector-quality condition, and a dealer will generally put a high price on something that is so clean and unpolished, even if it is a mid-range model.

I think it is way overpriced but in line with what random dealers charge. I don't buy from dealers so almost every dealer price is overpriced to me. I have quite a few vintage Zenith in nice condition, including several Sporto, none of which costed nearly that much.

But assessing vintage prices is quite personal. If you really like it and have the money, that's what matters.
