Hi , what do u guys think is a reasonable market price for a zenith port royal cal 135 , 18k gold , 1958?
That depends on whether you are looking to insure it or sell it. The price of these has jumped considerably in the last year. 12 months ago, a good one would have sold for $4,000 but now that could be 50% more for a perfect one. So if it's for insurance purposes, I would say $6,000. It is difficult to assess your watch from this photo. The case needs quite a bit of work done to it and you can't tell if the lacquer on the dial is intact. Anybody looking to buy it would also want to see good pictures of the movement and both inside and outside of the case back.
Hi I just got it from the first owner , apparently the watch was unworn for many years. The leiquer on the dial is perfect will post pics when I get it serviced. No intentions to get the case polished , it actually matches the vintage design of the watch. What do u think?
I think you've got a real grail there, is what I think. Fantastic watch in a league with the A386 and early gold Primeros as an object of salivation. Thanks for sharing. We look forward to additional photos.
Hi given the watch for servicing , the staff balance and the winding stem needs to be replaced. Will get it back in about a week or so . Regards
