I am very, very pleased with my recent purchase but it is with a heavy heart that I must admit defeat and rely upon the expertise of my fellow watch geeks. I have searched all over the internet and used the search function in this forum and I have been unable to find any meaningful information on Movado's Zenith Movement Museum Watch.
I have several older Movados including quartz Museum watches but I recently acquired a beautiful Gold plated Movado Museum watch with a Zenith Manual wind movement. Caseback reference # 20.0520.355

I'm thrilled but I like to know about my watches so can anyone point me in the right direction or even tell me a little about when Zenith owned Movado and how old my watch is? My guess is it's from the '70s.

The first photo is mine but the movement photo is from the eBay listing because I don't want to open the watch here.

Thanks gatorcpa. I spent all day on google using different combinations of search terms and I kept getting sales posts and Forum posts but no real information. I finally turned here in frustration. My biggest issue is convincing everyone around me that a 31.5mm watch is a man's watch. [emoji4]

From the von Osterhausen book, The Movado History, it appears that the watch has the reference numbering system used from 1971 through 1983. Below are pictures of the pages relevant to identifying the watch as a gold plated case and using a Zenith 1740 movement. Hope this helps.
