As promised, some photos of the G381 I snagged during the recent G381 monsoon season, when they were falling out of the sky. Rössler tells us 700 of these were produced between 1969 and 1972. Recently, 5 or 6 were for sale simultaneously. I think I got a good one. *Probably anachronistic solid 14k buckle, purchased separately.
This is one of the greats - deserves to be fully alongside the A 386. It is simply not possible to photograph this watch from a bad angle. Weird that as obviously excellent as this case design is, Zenith chose to house only two of their many Primero references in it.
