Antiquorum's catalog for the March 17 sale is up. It's got a modern 36000VPH and a Striking 10th, some pocket watches, but the only meat it offers us vintage guys is a slightly tropicalized Ref. A 384 - regrettably no US preview, so can't get more pics. I love the way the Great Auhtoritative Auction House still uses the casemaker's internal reference number (SP1301) as the ref for the model, as if the internet didn't exist.
I put in an absentee bid and was surprised to receive the invoice the next day. Agree with you on the price I think. I think if it was sold on ebay, it would sell higher than the price after buyer's premium. Too many hawks around.
CHF 3750 for the A 384 in case anyone's wondering. And I agree - pretty decent price for what looks like a very proper piece The Striking 10th went for CHF 7500 and the 36000VPH for CHF 4000.
